It sounds like you have made major acheivements in your treatment with your weightloss, Congratulations! I felt sad and angry when I heard what your doctor said. She should be applauding your weightoss and giving you something more to work with. It is all over curent research that a loss of 10% of body weight could benefit fertility and PCOS so I don't see what the problem is. What could it hurt to give the Clomid a whirl.
Many women with PCOS continue taking met. during pregnancy and end up gaining only slight weight during pregnancy with a total loss after delivery. It sounds like you have been working hard to treat yourself and prepare for pregnancy with your medication and current weight loss. Hopefully you will find someone who will treat the whole condition of PCOS, help you reach your pregnancy goals, and treat you with respect!
Best of luck to you and keep us posted with your progress. This site is full of so many success stories! Maybe yours will be next!
