Why won't she give it to you? If it is weight, plenty of people get pregnant on it who are less than ideal weight. Has she considered giving you met and clomid since it is the current best practice for PCOS and beginning infertility treatments?
I'm not sure I'd take the clomid without a dr. monitoring you. I got cysts during my treatment with it that were quite painful. If it is a last resort I may consider it though. Any other doctors who are more sensitive to you there may be worth visiting. PCOS makes it very hard to lose weight.
Good Luck on your decision!

She told me to reason she will not put me on it was in her words "you are to Fat and it will not work for you"..this is what came out of her mouth...trying to find another doc that my ins will pay for..

It sounds like you have made major acheivements in your treatment with your weightloss, Congratulations! I felt sad and angry when I heard what your doctor said. She should be applauding your weightoss and giving you something more to work with. It is all over curent research that a loss of 10% of body weight could benefit fertility and PCOS so I don't see what the problem is. What could it hurt to give the Clomid a whirl.
Many women with PCOS continue taking met. during pregnancy and end up gaining only slight weight during pregnancy with a total loss after delivery. It sounds like you have been working hard to treat yourself and prepare for pregnancy with your medication and current weight loss. Hopefully you will find someone who will treat the whole condition of PCOS, help you reach your pregnancy goals, and treat you with respect!
Best of luck to you and keep us posted with your progress. This site is full of so many success stories! Maybe yours will be next!

Oops I wanted to add this. I saw you are in Lexington and I am in Cincinnati. I see a great RE here so if you'd like to hear about her more just let me know.
