Hello Cysters,
I am beginning to investigate the possibilities of trying Acupuncture to assist with this infertility to due to PCOS. When should I begin acupuncture treatments as means of helping with ovulation and conceiving? Any info would be helpful and very appreciated.

Clomid x3 no luck
Follistim x 2 with IUI no luck
Provera 8/02 waiting for AF
Hoping to cycle with Follistim and IUI again this month (9/02)
Avandia 4mg/day
Flax seed oil 2000mg/day
Baby Asprin 81mg/day
Prenatal vitamins 1/day
Just started to do BBT charting
1st IVF canceled on 12/02
2nd IVF began 2/24/03
1st ER 3/7/03....14 eggs retrieved
waiting for fertilization results

Hi there,

I tried acupuncture for 7 sessions (weeks) and it was not beneficial fertility-wise for me...but, I still highly recommend it! I think that anytime during your cycle would be ok, but I would try to get your "whole system" balanced out before getting any fertility-specific treatments! I balanced my Meridians in about 4 sessions and could really feel a difference. Good luck, email me if I can help you more!
