HI everyone,

I was just wondering what your 1st period was like after your miscarriage. I didn't have a D&C. I just got my period for the first time and I feel like I'm miscarrying all over again. The cramps are bad, but my flow is extremely heavy and there are very big clots. Is this normal?

it can be strange for a few months and be normal, but if you are very alarmed and it goes on like this for days, you should call the doctor and ask for advice. i would assume that one or two days like this can be normal. things are changed in there by pregnancy, no matter how long it lasts.

My first AF after my last loss was like that also....I think it was because it took almost 3 months to have a normal AF. I'm guessing the lining was just really thick from not having it. If it goes on for more than 2 days or so, I would call the doctor.
