Hi I was just giving avandia to take today 1 pill a day. I was just wondering for those who are taking it how long before it helped? I mean regulate you and does it help with any other PCOS symtoms?

Glucophage helped me to lose weight and got my cycles kick-started. However when I added Avandia to the mix, my cycles went from 36 to 34 to 32 days over 3 months. Then they stayed there for the next 4 - now I am 14 weeks pregnant. In addition - there are 4 other PCOS patience at my GP's office who are insulin resistent, they were all prescribed avandia/gluc xr RX's and we are all pregnant.
