Question about bloodwork

I'm hoping someone will be able to answer my question. I hadn't been taking my synthroid for a while. I just started back last week, but I will need a refill soon and I'm sure they will do bloodwork before giving me the refill to check my levels. So, my question is, how long would I had to be taking the synthroid before the test results would be accurate? I'm hoping to be able to go get my labs done after taking the meds for 4 weeks. Is that enough time for my results to be accurate? TIA

4 weeks should be enough time to give a pretty good picture of what your thyroid is doing, I'd think.
