Question Question about Buspar

Hi. I just started taking Buspar and I was wondering how well it works. I suffer from anxiety pretty bad and I just want to get better. Am I wrong to hope this is a miracle drug? Also, how is this drug when coming off? I know when a person misses a does of Paxil there can be awful withdrawl type side- effects. Any info. or success stries would be appreciated. Thanks.

Love,
Megan

Hi there- Buspar is an "old school" drug, I work in the mental health field and have only heard of a few people being on it. That being said, the one or two I know of had sucess with the drug as the "new school" drugs didn't work for them. Like with other drugs like Paxil- remember to take it daily. I can go without my Paxil for 2, maybe 3 days without feeling the withdrawl effects, take it daily for the best effect. Good luck
