I suffer from IR and have that classic dark ring around my neck. while taking it faithfully that ring disappeared and i had an easier time losing weight. in a nutshelll, cromium picolinate does the same thing that met does. just without the nasty side effects. let me know how it works for you.

I tried the GNC brand--regular and time released, and I simply can not tolerate it...I used a brand before I think it was called trichromium and it had cinnamon in it--it worked great even helped me lose weight--But I can't find it any more I believe the GNC brands drop my bs level too low--Hmmmm maybe that's a sign I don't need it anymore?

My Mood: Points: 6,389.26 Bank: 42,244.31 Total Points: 48,633.57 | I use Puritan Pride's vitamins ( http://vitamins.com) and they are inexpensive and good vitamins. They usually have deals going on (like buy 1 get 1 free) and shipping is always $3.95.
As for when I take it, I try to remember to eat when I do take my pills, but I get real bad sometimes. Generally speaking, I take 3 200 mcg pills a day, one at morning, one at noon and one at night (breakfast, lunch, dinner).
Hope this helps!
