Default question about cinnamon

I've read some thing about cinnamon being good to help lower blood sugar and all that stuff. I was just wondering if it is better to take the capsules over the actual spice. I usually put a spoonful of ground cinnamon in my yogurt in the morning, does anyone know if I am getting the same benefits as I would if I took the capsules?

you can do some reading on the cinnamon thread ... but yes i believe you are getting the same thing .. but you may need to add more .. my capsules are 600mgs each and you usually need 1500mgs to 2000mgs ... so i take 3 caps a day ... if you can picture the amount in 3-4 caps, lol eat that much
