tuesday my dr put me on levothyroxine . as my thyroid level was at a 2.3 . he wants to get it up to a 3.3 in the middle range.
i just started takin the pill yesterday, i was wondering how soon i should notice any type of change..

and what the changes should be.

i go back to the dr in june.

just am curious as to what types of "changes" im supposed to notice

If your TSH level was 2.3, that is within the acceptable range (on most lab ranges). Your doctor should not want to increase your TSH unless it is below .3 Do you have a copy of your lab results because your numbers are not correct in this post. I can't tell if you're hypo or hyper; do you know if you have Graves Disease or Hashimoto's? Also, what medication are you on and what is the dosage?

im on Levothyroxin 25mcg

here are my results :

TSH 3.930 uiu/ml

THYROXINE (T4) 10.1 ug/dl

T3 Uptake 23 L %

Free Thyroxine Index 2.3 (that is what he wants to get up to 3.3 )

i have neither Graves or Hashimotos that i know of,
