If your TSH level was 2.3, that is within the acceptable range (on most lab ranges). Your doctor should not want to increase your TSH unless it is below .3 Do you have a copy of your lab results because your numbers are not correct in this post. I can't tell if you're hypo or hyper; do you know if you have Graves Disease or Hashimoto's? Also, what medication are you on and what is the dosage?
