 Question about metformin ER
Hello,
i was hoping some one could give me some advice. I have been taking metformin (the regular kind) for 2 yrs. At the end of september, my endo wanted to up me from 2000mg to 2250mg so i asked to be put on the ER or XR version. Well, everthing started out good, not a lot of tummy troubles. Well this week, i started being very nauses tuesday, yesterday and today. Then i noticed my blood sugars were 122,125,127 of a morning, (Fasting) and last night about two hours after eating, i just felt bad so i tested and it was 187. I usually am 80-90 fasting and 100-115 after eating.
My question is has anyone had trouble switching to the ER or XR version? Did it not work as good as the regular?
I am going to watch it till monday, and if no better then i will call the endo and be put back on the regular, as much as i hate too. Thanks for any help or advice.
