i have a quick question for those of you on the patch...my OBGYN told me that the patch had a weight restriction of under 170...i am 180 which therefore doesnt make me a canidate for its use...have any of you heard of this or is this just another one of his ploys to tell me how overweight i am...my RE is great but my OBGYN is a complete ass....sorry for the bluntness...but he is...he refuses to talk to me about abnormal bleeds or the way that i am feeling...because it is all my fault until i lose weight....i have left his office in tears....sorry for the rambling but i was just wondering if there is infact a wieght restriction...any help would be great...thanks...christie

But they put me on it anyway. I didn't get pregnant on it, but after 6 months, I started having my period every other week. But I also have mild endometriosis, so it could have been that... and I' was at 240 then.

Hey Christie!

My GYN didn't tell me about a weight restriction, but I read it on the little information leaflet thingy that came with the prescription. I'm WAY over the limit, but I haven't noticed any trouble with it. I mean my periods are extremely regular now that I've been on it, but I have only been on it for 4 months. I like it!

I hope this helped.
