I am taking Provera to start my period and I am suppose to start Clomid on Saturday, but my AF is really light. Sorry (TMI) but it looks like it is diluted with water. I am usually deep dark and heavy. So I don't know. I am wondering if this will effect my clomid and chances on getting pregnant. Does anyone know? Has anyone had any luck with a light AF before taking Clomid? Just wondering if I should save my clomid for next month when I have heavier AF.

How long have you had the light AF? My RE told me that I could not count it as cycle day one until I had a normal full flow.
I took provera, and it took 8 days after the last pill before I saw any sign of AF.
First, I spotted for 2 days, then had 1 day of light flow, and by the next day I had full flow.
Maybe you just need to wait a little longer?

Thanks...I have had light flo for about two days. I might just wait until next month to do the Clomid.

I would call your Dr. and ask, but I don't see why you can't do clomid this cycle as long as you finally do start a normal flow?

Thank you so much. I am starting my clomid tomorrow...I thought about calling my doctor back today...but they are out of the office really early today. So I can't call and see if they will give me an answer...I think my doctor was out of town at some convention anyway. :-(

A response to both you and Debi...no I didn't ever have a heavy flow...I just went ahead and started the Clomid on Saturday. We will see in a few weeks if it works.
