Hi! I was prescribed Met today to hopefully help me get pregnant! I actually took it about 5 years ago when TTC my last daughter and got pregnant the first month. Not sure if Met was the reason, but I hope to be that lucky again.

Anyway- My doc prescribed me 1500 mg. I remember last time starting with 500 and then moving up to 1000 and then we were going to see if I needed to go up to 1500. This time they just said 1500 (different doc, different state). Should I start slowly? Should I take them all together or 3 times a day? Thanks for the advice- I would really like as few side effects as possible!

My doc has me slowly increasing to 1500mg. I think I would build my way up if I were you. Best of luck TTC!

I would also continue to build up to the highest dosage...less side effects and less likely to get ill...Just my opinion!
