Default question about thin cyster symptoms

Hi all,
I'm new to this forum, but I've known about my pcos for years. I'm a thin cyster as well...and it is true, it's hard to get doctors to take you seriously. I just had one tell me that I dont have pcos. Obviously he is wrong.

So...just wondering, what type of symptoms is everyone experiencing? My main problems right now: hair loss (male pattern), some extra facial & body hair, periods are at 35 days so they are regular, and majorly depressive PMS.

Interesting post...
I didn't ever think I had PCOS even though when I was younger I had an ultrasound with like 7 cysts on one ovary and mult on the other. (Why that gyn didn't think that was a prob I will never know). Anyhow... I was dx by my current gyn during an infertility work-up after voicing my frustrations with never having a positive test with an OPK. He started asking questions and voila! Here I am. I have cycles that range 22-30 days... but I always have AF... never miss a cycle. I have excess hair and adult onset of acne. I also have very painful periods, but I have endo as well. I was dx after blood work confirmed high testosterone along with my other sx.

I was on BCP from age 21-31 which I beleive controled symptoms, generally. As a teen, I spotted in cycles and now think it was PCOS. I am sure my Mom had PCOS and her first pregnancy was after dieting (Dr suggested that if she lost weight my dad might find her more appealing. She was only about 20 lbs over ideal! jerk.)

No hair issues. No cholesterol issues. None of those skin spots. I dont think I have pearls on my ovaries (not sure). No IR or diabetes. No other issues other than the following.

Dx after ttc for 5 months. After going off BCP, moderate acne started again on face, chest, back. BBT charts held no regular pattern. FSH:LH ratio indicated PCOS but not severely so. I have fairly regular periods. I craved sweets quite a bit until dx. I also have scalp buildup so I use Neutrogena TSal shampoo. I also tend to build up flakey skin elsewhere and use Walgreen's AlphaHydroxy lotion mixed with my regular face and body moisturizers to control the build up.

I went on limited carb eating and made sure my exercise was more regular. My temps are now the nice biphasic pattern like they should be. I can feel pressure from ovaries around ovulation. Acne cleared up (after I stopped drinking regular milk, but I can drink lactose free milk as well as all other dairy). I dont get carb downer nappy time anymore unless I have a carby meal.

I just started metformin and Chaste Berry and have very high hopes for BFP soon.
