Question about uptake numbers

The sonogram tech told me my number was "4" from the uptake scan at hour 6 and then "11" at hour 24. He said they are on the lower side of the numbers but my Dr's office said they are "normal". The sono tech said the standard range at 6 hrs is 5-10 and 24 hrs is 15-? . Do you know what I'm talking about? I can't find the ranges online anywhere. Do you know where I can find them?

He suggested that I talk to the nurse at the Dr's office and see if we could just try a thyroid med and see what happens. I'm all up for that. I know for sure that thyroid and PCOS do coralate so my numbers may be off and I also know that my FP Dr's office is not familiar with PCOS. I have printed off much information to support this and will bring it all with me to discuss but I need to find something on the "standard" range numbers too before I go.

Help?

I think I may have found it.:

Normal Values:
6 hours: 3 to 16%
24-hours: 8 to 25%

Mine is 4 @ 6 hrs and 11 at 24 hrs and my Dr's officed called and said my levels were "normal" and that was that.

Do you think I should still talk to my Dr and see if thyroid med will help?
