Default Question about Yaz and hair loss?

I have had horrible thinning hair for about 6 years now. This board has been so helpful to me recently. I have started taking Flaxseed oil supplements, Biotin, and a good multi vitamin. I also use women's Rogaine and Nioxin shampoo....but I don't know how much longer it will be before I need a "piece". Anyway, through research on this board I didn't start my birth control pill over this Sunday (Allesse) because apparently it is high in androgen. I called my gyno this morning and told her I wanted something low in androgen. She called in a prescription for Yaz. Has anyone had luck with this helping their thinning hair? Or should I just stay off completely, but I am afraid that might make me lose more hair! Thoughts/advice?

So actually I have been put on Yasmin....and the generic form...Ocella. I hope I don't start bleeding again. I have bled on and off for the past two months. I was originally on Alesse for 10 years...generic form....Aviane and all of a sudden I started bleeding. My gyno says this happens all the time and wanted to switch me to FemCon. Well, I read horrible horrible reviews and read that I need to be on a low does androgen bc because of my hair loss. So just had another period last week and started today with Ocella. Had to take two pills in a row since it's Monday. After reading some posts, I hope to God I don't start bleeding again...AND I hope my hair doesn't fall out worse!!!!!

Default Just started on Yaz as well

I have had horrible thinning hair for the past year, and I just got diagnosed with PCOs. My Dr put me on Yaz, I just started and I am really hoping that the hair loss stops. How long have you been on Yaz and have you seen a differnce?
