I have a couple of questions, though, for you who use the gazelle.
Does it give you an aerobic or cardio workout? Or is it more just to get you moving? Is it easy to move around and pack down out of the way? How heavy is it? What kind of results have you seen? |

It weighs about 40 pounds, kind of awkward to carry, but it fold up pretty thin, you could even store it behind a couch or probably under a bed.
Ummm, I though aerobic and cardio were the same thing, so I'm not sure which it is. I did about 30 minutes on it and it really gets your heart rate up. You can do different motions to work your arms and upper body too. I really felt it in my upper thighs and really sore in my calves the next day, I shouldn't have started with so much.
This is probably just me, but at first I felt terribly uncoordinated on the thing. The legs swing independent of one another, and instead of my legs moving opposite one another, one leg kept wanting to go faster than the other, weird, again, probably just me and it didn't take long to get the hang of it.
Overall I like it and I'm glad I got it. Hope someone else who has had one longer can give you more info and results!

Hi! I only have good things to say about my Gazelle! I have had it for a month and I use it 3-5 times a week. It is very easily stored...folds down pretty flat. It does weigh about 40-45lbs but it is so easy just to pull out and set up. I love pulling it out and working out and watching my favorite sitcoms.
It gives you both a cardio and aerobic workout. I to at first felt a little funny on it but after a few times it comes naturally. There are several different positions you can do to get a full body workout. I started out at 10 minutes a day, then to 20 min, which is the suggested amount of time, but now I do a full 30 min. Yes, your calves and arms get sore, but the pay off is nice. I have lost 10lbs without changing my eating habits. This month is a new month for me and have committed myself to start the low carb diet. I can't wait to see the results with the two combined!
I hope this answers all you questions. Good luck to you if you do decide to try it!
Lori

snowbunny: I got mine off e-bay, they generally bid out around $115-130 including shipping. Just the basic model, no videos or anything, but it does have the computer.
