Default warning - tmi

Was the m/c natural or D&C? If a D&C, it may be sore from the D&C procedure. I have no experience with a natural m/c. And if you mean the last time was over 6 weeks ago, it could hurt from :o not being used so to speak. :o With my pg, DH was a little afraid to do anything and I wasn't excatly "in the mood" either. So, when we finally bd'ed after the D&C - I was a little sore.

Beth-
Don't feel embarrassed about asking a question. I miscarried and at 16w4d- I delivered our babies on the 26th of December. I craved intimacy at this point- and probably would have desired sx upon arriving home on the 27th. I don't think this is abnormal. We are all human, and when something so profound happens- we seek comfort in the most intimate of ways. With that said- I was told to wait atleast five weeks from the date of the deliveries. We made love less than a week after I arrived home. You have miscarried at five weeks and it is more than likely that you do not need to wait as long. I am glad you posted- I have been wondering about you and hoping that you were recovering as well as could be expected...
Hope this helps.
Karen

I miscarried naturally and we were BDing before I had finished bleeding from it. There was no discomfort except that which usually occurs during a period, a little sore cervix you have to be careful with.

When you mc, your cervix opens. That's why they suggest waiting 2 weeks or so really, to prevent infection with that open cervix. So I agree, it's probably just a tender cervix.

Thank you all for all the replys.
I feel better now knowing that it was normal.
I did have a natural m/c so no d&c was needed.

We will be trying again at the end of this month or when ever af
arrives.

Thanks again,
Beth S
