My dh & I seem to have a disagreement about the affordability of ART treatments in our future. After spending $70,000.00 in the past and getting nothing but heartache, it's tough to think about possibly wasting more money, for even more pain. I like to be thorough and educate ourselves about our situations. Currently the two of us have a slight issue. I believe that we have the money in our budget to continue treatment, but dh thinks we don't. Just so I can approach the subject prepared, I was hoping those that have received treatment through infertility clinics in Canada would share their approx. annual income through a poll so I can show him that we are fortunate enough to atleast try.

Our IVF cycle cost us about $12,000 everything included. Do you mind if I ask what type of treatment you were looking to try?

Maybe I didn't make myself clear.
We have done previous cycles costing us a total of over $70,000. Now that we have been dismissed from our last clinic & refused to the last one we were referred to, we'll br travelling south of the border. If we choose to pursue treatment.
Having been around the block a few times, I know what a cycle costs. Hence why I think we could proceed with another cycle.
That's why I wanted to know approx. incomes and not how much a cycle costs. | |
