question for diane users

Hello ladies,
i hhope you dont mind me asking but does anybody feel they have put alot of weight on using diane/dianette?i have been takin it for ocer a year now and feel i have stacked the weight on bad, i just windered if anybody else has has the same?thankyou.

When I took Diane a couple of years ago, I experienced weight-gain, then again, I was also on other medications that had the same effect. I also found however that there were 5-10 pounds or so that would fluctuate through my pack of pills.

I would say wait to see if the weight goes away for a bit (maybe it's water-retention?), and if not consult your doctor. But that's just what I would do.

I'm currently on a different pill right now, mainly cause I got a three-monthy supply of samples. I love them, so I don't think I'd go back to Diane but, Good Luck!

thanks for the advice, i really appreciate it. i think i will end up staying on diane becuase it seems to really work for my skin i had really bad acne in my teens and early twenties and now i am crystal clear thanks to it. cannot win either way!thanks again.(by the way you are so lucky living in canada i am hoping i can go and work there when i finish my nurse training in the uk)

I was on Diane for only 1 and a half months. I had to stop because of all the side effects I had, and 1 of them was severe bloating. I dropped 6 pounds in 3 days when I stopped taking them!
