I take 1000mcg each day around noon. I also have 200mcg in my multi-vitamin.

I for one didn't notice any change in energy from taking B12. But the leg cramps went away that I was having in my calves. My lab results said I was deficient with both B and D so they want me to keep taking them anyway.

I think eating high fiber and lean protein really has helped, and staying away from my mortal enemy (that I love to eat) french fries.

I wanted to make sure I was getting enough just from the multivitamin I'm taking without an extra b12 supplement. It seems like I am, the multivitamin is specifically for women and with the two I take a day it totals 1000mcg. Since I started that a couple of weeks ago along with fish oil, Ive been feeling a lot better, still tired all the time (really need to get a thyroid follow up) but I haven't had any issues with depression.

I take 8000mcg daily under my tongue. When I was tested my b12 levels were 400 borderline low and I am a big meat eater. My doc thinks I have an absorbation problem.
