Question Question- Met and Clomid

Hi ladies. I am in need of some information. I FINALLY persuaded my doc to perscribe glucophage XR for me. My question is this. I have been on Clomid for the past 4 months. I O'd on months 3 and possibly 4. Should I ask the doc for Clomid again now that I've started Glucophage or should I try my 1st month of GXR without the Clomid?

Any advice is appreciated!!!!!
Have a great day!

DanaLee

Hi DanaLee,
Glucophage takes a while to really have an effect on fertility. Patience is a virtue with this stuff, and it pays off. Many of us cysters end up needing some clomid as well as metformin, but you never know, you might not. I'd give it a few months to work on its own.
Good luck,
Sheri Lee
