It's used as a diabetic med. But it can also increase your fertility.

Met is used for fertility, but that's not the whole reason met's rx'd. Like Holland said, Met is a diabetic med. But not everyone who takes it is diabetic or even ir. I was rx'd Met to help with my symptoms of slight excess hair and cysts on my ovaries even though I am not ir. And at this time, I am not ttc. I'm not exactly sure how to explain how met works, just that it is supposed to regulate/stabilize hormones, which in turn helps ovulation. Hopefully someone else can help explain it a little better.

Holding off on weightloss while baking another baby. Goal for now = only to gain 10-15 lbs this time.
