I have my forms in front of me. They are the only insurance company I have found in Alberta that will cover fertility drugs. So I filled them all out and was honest, but then on the last page when I went to sign I read the paragraph that reads: 'I understand that any injury or medical condition that was diagnosed prior to this application may not be covered by the agreement.' Has anyone had experience with this? Do they deny usually? Should I have been less honest? If I am denied, does anyone know of any other company in Canada that covers fertility drugs?

insurance companies won't pay for drugs if you have a pre-existing condition or else they lose money. you should be honest because they can later deny paying for your expenses. i don't know how it works with fertility drugs and individual plans, your best bet would be to get a job with group health benefits and then you don't have to worry.
