Default Question regarding s/e

I have heard many people say that Met causes diarrhea, but

has anyone gotten constipated from it?

I don't mean at all to make light of your question, but I think there might be some of us who at times, would have loved to have that problem  I haven't heard of many who had constipation...the only suggestions I can give is to make sure you're getting a good amount of water and fiber in your day. Also, if you need a little help getting going, iceberg lettuce does it for me...every time.

I was kind of suprised that I've been slightly constipated on the Met as well. I had read all this stuff about diarreah and was so prepared to endure that as my body adjusted, but I've seemed to do the opposite - but not horribly constipted either - so I guess I've been one of the lucky ones. My biggest side effect has been headaches. I'm pretty sure I've even at least some iceburg lettuce in a salad and haven't had any problems with it. Anyone know what it is about iceburg lettuce that can cause so many problems with most who are on Met?
