Hello,
I am so sorry that you are diagnosed with endometriosis and I can realte to the pain. I was clinically diagnosed with endometriosis because I have severe pain during A/F. Then when BCP's (Yasmin & Nuvaring) did not help with my pain, my gyno decide to have a look and did a laproscopy (which was changedin the OT and made an incision 2inches) and checked the utereus from outside.. no signs on the utereus and the ovaries. Then he decided to check the cervix and found that I had a stenotic cervix (tightly closed). Also suggested an MRI and detected adenomyosis(internal endometriosis).
So technically I have a stenotic cervix and adenomyosis which makes A/F extremely painful requiring prescription naproxene 650mg every 6hrs. The cycles are also long.. anything between 35-45days with bleeding for 6-8days.
I would suggest you talk to your ob/gyn in details.
