In February dh & I moved from Markham(suburb of Toronto) to Calgary for dh's employment. We have both adjusted well but now dh is being offered a job in Kelowna that pays alot more $$$.
We just got back from a weekend in Kelowna and both enjoyed our short visit but are wondering a few things...
Like how difficult it will be for me to find a job, housing rentals(we just bought in Calgary and plan on renting it while we rent in Kelowna)
Does Kelowna even have a hospital(didn't see one) Climate??? I found a few different things online that contrdicted each other.
Can anyone please give me thoughts, opinions, etc that might make this decision a little bit easier for us.
Thanks.
Kelowna is VERY hard to get rentals, specaly around the summer when people rent them out for just the summer. Some of my good friends lived there and they moved out to Langley becouse it was just so pricy unless you want to live in a basment suite.
Im not sure about the hospitals, but also jobs are hard to come by out there i have been told.....

Thanks Kutrina.
Dh has accepted the job. We will be going back to Kelowna next weekend to check out some places. With the rental prices the way they are in Calgary right now Kelowna seems really reasonably priced.
As for jobs there seems to be alot for the area considering the population...hopefully it's a good sign.
In the meanwhile I am packing all of our stuff up for another big move.
