Question for those taking met for 2nd time around?

I took metformin in 2002 and after 3 weeks was pregnant,I,d had lots of side effects from the drug,sickness/tiredness etc.This time I have been on it 2 weeks and have had no side effects at all,has anybody gone on to have a second baby using metformin as I,m worried it will just not work this time
