Points: 1,583.37 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 1,583.37 | Question for Those Who've Had a D&C I had a D&C on July 3 and bled heavily for about a week and spotted until just this past weekend. I had a few days with no sign of anything and thought it was finally over and I just had to wait for AF. I started spotting again yesterday. It has been four weeks to the day of my D&C, and I've read that most people don't have AF for about 6 weeks.
For those of you who've been through this, was your first AF normal? Did you bleed heavily or normal or what? I'm just curious if this is AF or just continued spotting. I'm leaving for Myrtle Beach next week and I really want to be able to relax and enjoy the sun and water and not have to worry about AF.
I would really like to hear any experiences you've had. Thanks!

AF was pretty normal, as far as I remember, with no extra heavy bleeding or cramping. Hope that helps! |

My Mood: Points: 16,972.85 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 16,972.85 | I had a D&C in December. I bled for 2 wks and then AF showed up 6 wks after D&C. It was probably the worse AF I have ever had. It was real heavy and I had cramps worse than usual. Hopefully, that will not happen to you. Have a great vacation!!

Points: 1,583.37 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 1,583.37 | Thanks for the replies! My spotting got heavier this morning so I called my doctor to reassure myself so I could relax next week and he said he thinks it's my period and not to worry about anything. It certainly feels like AF and it looks like AF so I'm going to assume it's AF. It actually relieves me because it came right on time, four weeks to the date of my D&C.
Anyway, thanks again! Off to the beach!!
