Do you talk to people about PCOS?

If you do, how do you start the convo?

If you don't , why not?

I talk to my mom about it because we are very close and also because she has PCOS. She has been very encouraging to me in this way.
I don't really talk much to my friends about it as frankly I think it would be embarrasing to bring up. I briefly mentioned it to one friend once as I think she mentioned that she was on birth control so it opened up the conversation. I would talk about it if another person started the conversation.

Ah...I don't talk about it much with anyone. If I do it's with one of two people: my mother or my best friend of 20 years. Even then it's a hesitant conversation. I don't think either realize how bothered I really am by the fear of infertility and the different complications PCOS causes. It's all right, though. I finally found a support board..
