I have no periods, EVER. Never have...

I took fertility treatments, had my daughter and had an IUD put in.

My PCOS has gotten out of control and my endo wants to put me on 2000mg of Met as well as Yaz.

I really don't want to take my IUD out. It's so convenient. And I hate taking BCPs. I took them for a decade and hated them and was moody as hell.

But now that my PCOS is going crazy she wants me to take them.

For those of you that are taking bcps for your PCOS, did they truely help? I don't want to take them if they are actually going to do something. I have no problems with taking Met and am wondering if it's enough.

Advice and info, please?

I have only been on Yaz for about a week and a half....but I hate it. I was on Yasmin for a while earlier this year and I had NO side effects AND got a period. I am just moody and my face is breaking out on Yaz. I have generic Yasmin for my next packet and I am planning on staying on it for a few months before I start fertility treatments. I would ask about Yasmin if I were you...
