Exclamation Questions about Blood work...

Im going to the doctor next week for the first time since I have been diagnosised. I lost my insurance so I cant see a specialist or any doctor for that matter so I have to go to the health department.. i want them to do blood work What do i need to get them to check?!! plus i think i need to be tested for lupus my joints are swollen and hurting so bad.. it even hurts to eat.. is this a sign of lupus?! thanks!!!!

I might miss something, but here's a good start...FSH, LH, DHEA, Estrogen, Testosterone, complete thyroid, prolactin, glucose tolerance, and a lipid panel for cholesterol and triglycerides, insulin. If you're taking Spironolactone, you may also need to have your electrolytes checked.

There may be a sticky around here with a more organized list that explains why you need each one.
