Question questions about lab results

I posted on here the other day and got alot of support from you guys which helped alot. I had a question about my results from the lab....... my dhea was 354 , testosterone 80, thyroid 1.1 and progesterone hasn't came back yet. I would like to know if they are high or not. I know that there is so much different info on here and I have already read it. I just can't find my way back to it. So if you guys happen to have the links to any posts please show me the way. Also, let me know your opinions on the labs.

Here is a lil history on me. My son is 3 and after he was born I got on b/c and lost over 50 lbs. We were gonna try this year again so I got off of the b/c in November and gained 30 lbs, grew hair EVERYWHERE, became so tired and not like my self and have only had 1 short period since then. The only time my periods were normal is when I am on b/c. Needless to say I started my b/c again last week. After researching it on the internet I found this site and all of these symptoms are me. I just want to fix this! My regular OB is doing the blood work and we did an ultrasound today and there were no cysts. He says that the labs are a lil high but not alarming. He basically shrugged me off. I feel like something isn't right here. I want to get pregnant again but not with all this extra weight. I have an appointment with a Dr here that specializes in women with this. My appt. isn't til April 4th. So til then I will make try to make sense of all this.

Sorry for talking your ears off. It just feels good that everyone here is in the same boat.

Hope you have a great night!

Hi Taylorluv....

Even though you don't have cysts does not mean you don't have PCOS, but a complete work up from your specialist should better indicate if you have it or not. What I know about testosterone, that even though 80 may be considered in normal range, it's still to high to ovulate, hence, the absence of periods. Mine is in the 70's and Doc says it needs to be around 50 to have a period.

BTW what BCP are you on. I just started Low Ovoral after years of being off the pill.

I am on Nuvaring. It is really convenient for me. I forget to take a pill.

Thanks for your response and good luck!

I'm not too well versed on all the labs stuff, but read this, it's really helpful:
