Questions about Prozac

This is the first time I've really posted on the depression boards, but I know of no one else on this medicine.

First question. Had anyone else become terribly absent minded while being on Prozac? Geez, it got so back a couple of weeks ago, that when we bought our new car, I kept forgetting to call and get it insured. Although later I found out that I was taking double the amount that I was supposed to. Long story there.
But I still think I'm being so ditzy. I like the way I feel on this medicine, not nearly as grouchy and mean as I used to be. I have a much more positive outlook of life now.

Second quesion. Does anyone else get weird cravings? I never used to be a HUGE chocoholic, but lately, it's all I want. Yesterday I was ready to tear the house apart looking for something chocolate to eat. And it's just not the chocolate. I either don't have an appetite at all, or I want to sit down and eat a huge meal.

Third question. Has being on prozac helped anyone to quit smoking? I find that I don't smoke nearly as much now as I did before I started it.

I am prone to be absent minded, but yes, on prozac, I found it was worse....but I always laughed about it. In fact, I never remember to take my prozac. lol

LOL. I wish I had taken out double the insurance. But no, I was taking double the dosage of the Prozac. The pharmacy forgot to tell me that they changed the mgs of the pills.
