I just gt some lab results back, and everything was normal except my testosterone. The nurse said that the since it is only slightly elevated (1.0, should be under 0.82) the doctor does not want to treat me for it. I told her that since I will be TTC again soon, that I would like to get it back into a normal range, because that may be why I haven't been able to conceive.
My question is, what are the treatments for elevated testosterone. And also, are there any alternative remedies for lowering it as well?

My testosterone levels returned to normal after losing weight which it looks like you've been doing. So probably if you continue they will return to normal levels especially since they are so close to being there already. Good luck!

Mini Goal- 140- REACHED 7/28/08!!! New Mini Goal- 130! - REACHED 10/10/08!!! 27 years old- no meds- trying to get healthy through diet and exercise
Yes, I decided to take a break from TTC for a couple of months. I had to push to have my hormones checked because I had a gut feeling that something was preventing me from conceiving. I now walk 4 miles a day on the treadmill, and am on a 1200 calorie diet and I drink nothing but water. Thanks for the info!!!
