I found out I have PCOS in November. I had multiple blood tests and an ultrasound done. PCOS is so confusing I am just wondering what type of questions should I be asking my doctor. All she basically told me was eat like a diabetic and exercise and she hoped my symptoms would improve. I was put on Ocella 4 months ago. I've been told I need to have yearly checks for colesterol and diabetes. She really didn't go over my lab results. What if anything should I be asking about them?

They did a lipid pannel, glucose check, checked my thyroid, folicle stimulating homone, lueteinizing homone, testosterone, DHEA-S, and tested my insulin levels. I had mildly elevated colesterol. Everything else she said was in normal limits yet she said I had significant PCOS. Any insight would be greatly appreaciatied.
