Oh right! Good luck to you renee!!! Hopefully you are already holding your baby!!!
Can't PM anyone until I get 30 posts - I'm working on it! My discharge papers say that I can't bd for 6 weeks in big bold italicized letter....DH and I think that might be tough anyways. I see my doc next monday and I'm going to ask him about it. But it doesn't matter for now, I'm still too sore.
Thanks for the info on the acupuncturist. I looked into it and my health insurance actually gives a discount on some of them, so I'm going to call tomorrow. I don't know if I've ever ovulated naturally, so it's worth a try!

Melissa - My discharge papers say the same thing but my RE said I could BD as soon as I feel up to it. Theoretically I should be ovulating in about 10 days or so, I am hopeful I will feel up to it by then! I did ovulate the first couple months after I went off the birth control pill the last time (we weren't TTC then though), hopefully that happens again this time and we catch it! I'm going to try and be really good with my diet and get back on the acupuncture, any little bit I can do!
Definitely check out acupuncture, I will be curious to hear how you find it. Were you going to use Provera or something to start a cycle?
Snowflower - How are you feeling?

Sorry for not responding sooner. I have been feeling a bit down. I am just really dissapointed and scared the femara wont work and I wont be able to do IVF. I am on day 3 of provera. I just cant get my hopes up considering how I tried cycles of injectables and everything went perfectly and I didnt end up pregnant. I am just scared and upset.
Jane: So glad that everything went well hun. I was so hungry and thirsty too right after.
Renee: Cant wait to hear an update and hope everything went well.

I'm sorry you are feeling so down SnowFlower =( I know it's hard not to think about the 'what-ifs', but you've got to just try and focus on keeping as healthy and happy as possible in this moment. Worrying about whether or not the Femara will work doesn't benefit you at all right now, but try and stay positive that it will. Try not to let those negative thoughts creep in and focus on the positives. I know I'm sounding so very cliché right now, but all of it is true and really has helped me stay positive through all of the crap I've been through. Do you go see your RE again before you start the Femara, after AF shows up?

Jane: Thanks hun. I just feel like I have done the whats next step (injectables) and now Im going back a step to Femara. But I have to keep telling myself this medicine has worked for a lot of people who dont respond to Clomid and its worth trying. If I dont O on it I suppose it will be back to injects for a few cycles. I just cant allow myself to get excited about this cycle because I dont ovulate on Clomid and even with amazing ovulations on injects I didnt get pregnant. I just feel like its a lost cause because they didnt find endo or anything wrong with me pretty much. I hope the driiling did something.

I just wanted to stop in and give you guys an update. Sorry I don't have time for personals, we've got company on the way and some house cleaning to do before they arrive.
Gunnar arrived on the 1st of July at 6:12pm. Things started out really slow and I was just so impatient about it, but doc showed up at 1pm and that got things going. I got an epi and pitocin an hour later. He weighed 7lbs 8oz. He doesn't look it though, he's not real chubby and only 19.25 inches long. I call him his daddy' mini-me. he's got lots of blond hair and blue eyes like dh. he's been eating like a champ, except for a few hours after his circumcision when he was just not interested.
things are going great and i could not possibly be any happier.
Renee - Amazing, congrats! Welcome to the world little Gunnar!
Snowflower - I have heard that about drilling, it does help a lot of women ovulate so fingers and toes crossed that plus the Femara does the trick for you in getting a BFP! Hopefully the HSG plus the hysteroscopy helped 'clean things out' as well so to speak....I know they didn't find much but I am hopeful that it helps for me too. Hope you are feeling a bit better.
I'm slowly but surely feeling more like myself. Stopped taking painkillers last night and have been doing okay without them today (a lot less groggy, yay!); the pains from the CO2 are pretty much gone and I'm just a little uncomfortable from the bloating. Hopefully my GI system will be back up and running normally soon. I'm due to go back to work on Monday but will wait and see how I am feeling on Sunday before I decide for sure. Will be out and about over the next couple of days so that will give me a sense of how I'm really doing I think. I'm on CD7 today so will need to be ready for BDing in a few days too!
Hope everyone has a great weekend.
Jane

Renee: Congrats sweetie and Happy Birthday to your little man Gunnar. Cant wait to see pictures!
Jane: Tomorrow will be 2 weeks past surgery for me. I am just now feeling pretty much all the way better. I still have pelvic pain and cramps and from God knows what. I hate that they have no idea what the source of my pain is.
They gave me pain meds but I didnt take any except for a few Ibprofen's. I for some reason never felt the gas. I was actually worried about not feeing it lol.. Hugs. Are you trying anything this cycle?

If I feel up for it we will start BDing every other day starting next week sometime. I'm not going to use OPK's or chart BBT or anything, but will keep an eye out for EWCM though. I wasn't expecting to be given the go-ahead to TTC so soon, I was expecting to be told I'd have to stay on the pill for another month or two. So I'm just going to take these next two months easy and if I happen to ovulate and catch it I will obviously be thrilled, but I'm not at all expecting that.
Can they do any other testing to give a diagnosis for Adenomyosis? Although, like you said, with the only resolution for your pain being a hysterectomy it won't be that much help, but maybe having a diagnosis will give you some comfort in a way? Take it easy, chat soon. Jane

Renee - Congrats! I love the name, and I'm so glad everything went pretty smoothly. Enjoy your time with your family!
snowflower - I'm sorry you've been feeling down, but I'm glad you're feeling better from the surgery. I've been having weird cramps and what feels like some reorganization (for lack of a better word) down there too. I'm two weeks post op tomorrow, so I think we're at pretty similar stages.
Jane - I usually get AF every 6-8 weeks, so I don't usually use anything to start a cycle - do you? I'm going to start charting BBT once I get my next AF (should be in the next couple of weeks). I hope so anyways, I had bleeding/spotting for a week after surgery. Not sure if it was all surgery related or if I got AF. I'm excited for my follow up tomorrow, I want to know what the cyst I had was and hoping he'll give me the go ahead to start ttc again.
Take care all!
