What causes inflammation?
Could it be something cancerus?
Any info will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

That's why Omega 3's are SOOO important - they reduce inflammation and protect the cells from damage. An antioxidant product would help, too, since free-radicals (oxidated molecules) fly around the body causing damage. Or eat LOTS of blueberries and grapes - make yourself sick of them ha ha ha. But I suggest, since there is already inflammation, to use a supplement.
Here is the best one on the market (not my opinion, it was compared to others, and it was the best): http://www.mynsp.com/naherbs/product...?StockNum=4095
Here is an Omega 3 supplement, too: http://www.mynsp.com/naherbs/product...?StockNum=1515

Thats their job to answer any questions you may have, I know it can be embarrassing at times but wouldn't you rather be embarrassed than mis-informed or worrying about something that could possibly be nothing at all. I hope it all works out. (((HUGS)))

They specifically said that it was just inflammation and no evidence of cancerous cells. Repeat in 4 months...repeated it and the damn thing still isn't readable so I have to go back again in 4 months. They said it's pretty common.

:Hugs cyster: I'm sorry about this.
I've heard that most abnormal paps are NOT cancer. (I know when you're worried, it doesn't help much to hear that but I want to ease your mind if I can). It could be something like a yeast infection (you may not even know you had one), or even douching or having sex near the time of the exam. I have not had an abnormal pap before, but I have read or been told this before. I have also been told by different docs that if there is a problem (meaning cancer or something like that) they can usually see it during the exam.
Maybe you can call the doc, they might have you come in sooner just to help you rest easy.
Sorry I"m really not helping, I just want you to know that I'm always here for you. You're a wonderful cyster.
Hugs
Jenny

Also, (I was worried about an HPV infection earlier this year) cervical cancer is very slow to progress. So even if you have abnormal cells that turn out to be cancerous (or pre cancer), you probably don't have anything to worry about.
Just make sure you have paps yearly and that you schedule your follow-up pap. |

I actually called and spoke to the RN. She said the pap results were negative for cancer but showed an abnormalty for inflammation. Does that make any sense to any of you?
