He tried laxatives but that was all or nothing - so I've got him having 3 kiwifruit a day - he's doing better now, and he's got plenty of vitamin C

My Mood: Points: 4,074.69 Bank: 3,322.04 Total Points: 7,396.73 | A laxative may not give your Met enough time to absorb, so you may not get a proper dosage. If you are having trouble with constipation, try a stool softener and a glass of apple juice. Worked great for me after my surgery, and my dr ok-ed it for 4 weeks after surgery.
Drinking coffee may also give you the urge to go without any other meds needed.
