Today I went for my IR lab and afterwards 2 1/2 hours after i drank the 'cola' i started to feel like i was going to pass out, got dizzy, broke out in sweats while i was waiting for my order of food to come.. then i got so tired i felt like i was going to pass out..

has this ever happened to anyone else??

Similar thing happened to me after I had that test. I was starving from fasting for 12 hours, so I picked up a sandwich from the sub shop. A few minutes after I ate, I was so shaky, dizzy and hot. I had to lay down for a bit.. and I asked my husband to keep an eye on me. I was freaked out!

Thanks for the reply! I was wondering if i was going nuts lol I too had to lay down for awhile.. I thought that eating would help, not make me feel worse

now i just have to wait for the results!

You're welcome! It kinda scared me when it happened. I was hoping it was only from fasting so long, then eating. Apparently that's all it was!
