Red face quick question please! :o)

Hi, I started ortho tricyclen lo about 12 days ago and am now switching to ortho cyclen. My doctor said i could just start the ortho cyclen right away instead of waiting until the end of the pack. has anyone ever done this before and is it okay do you think? any input would be appreciated. thanks -alyssa

Just curious; what is his reasoning in switching you from lo to regular?? Mine switched me from regular to lo.

As for your question, IMO it would be best to wait and finish the pack you're on then start into the next pack. I think it would make the transition smoother, but then again, i've never switched from lo to reg. When i went from reg to lo, i waited until the end of a pack.

My doctor switched me from lo to regular for the higher amount of estrogen and because the regular cyclen is monophasic instead of triphasic.
