How do I quote only part of someone's message when responding??? TIA!!

Hit Quote, then just delete all execpt the parts you want left in. Make sure [quote ] (without the space) and [/quote ] (again without the space) are still there.

I've always just cut & pasted what I want to quote, placed it in the message box, highlighted it and then hit the quote icon at the top of the message box. That's always worked well for me.
