When I went for my u/s in February I didn't have any cysts at all. However my ObGyn said my bloodwork confirmed that it was PCOS and that not all women with PCOS have cysts. This is why they look at u/s, bloodwork and history before making a diagnosis or at least my Dr does anyway.
