I'm from New Zealand.
There isn't any 'gay community' in my town. There was in the last city I lived in but creeped me out, as I was newly out and everything was just a bit much. My male flatmate was really involved in it though. | |

I live in a small town of 7000 in Kamuela Hawaii on the Big Island. There is no bar or "community" per se but we "know" each other...the good ole nod. I have a few queer friends here. I moved with my partner of four years.
I just moved here a year ago from Seattle. Before that I grew up in San Fransico area so it a BIG change. We have L Word parties!!
