rochester ny we have the largest gay community here in the u.s. very nice wouldnt want to leave been to other places but here it is very accepted. must be the water..

Twin Cities, MN. We have a fairly large community here, and one of the best Pride weeks in the nation! Doesn't make it any easier to find a girlfriend though lol.

We went out for 2 1/2 years and liked Halifax. She has just been up to Cape Breton with her girlfriend, the Cabot Trail I think she said they did. Yeah, The Cabot Trail is one of the most breathtaking trails you will ever see. People come from all over to see it, I think it was rated number 2 in national geographics most beautiful places to see....I try to go every year, it so really nice this time of year because of the leaves and all.
I could never live in Florida....I went there when I was 9 and I baked! My family(grandparents) came to NS from Scotland, so I am very fair...the locals actually thought we were Scottish from out accents (which are caper accents not Scottish at all!) | |

I have yet to explore more of NS, and will get round to it one day.
I thought that about Florida, I have only ever been for 2 weeks vacation but managed that ok, and have been 6 times on vacation, thank god for A/C and ceiling fans. However, I spent 42 days over June/July with my partner and apart from when the fans were being cleaned I was ok, and I have never been one for lying out in the sun. I burn first and then go brown. I am sure I will acclimatise, my partner is originally from Boston area and she has lived in Florida now for about 20 years.

originally from miamisburg, ohio...now i live in gettysburg, ohio...i loved miamisburg bc that's where my family and alot of my friends live...and i love gettysburg now bc its such a small community...and its in the country and i can leave my doors unlocked and windows open and not have to worry about people breaking in...sucks that i'm gonna be moving back to the city soon...oh well...more about me somewhere else... | |

--from windsor ontario, where the gay community is very small,mostly men.
we have 1 gay bar..the one time i went there, i felt like a senior citizen..alot of young ones..i'm only 36,but ive been single for a couple yrs..no chance to meet women when i look the way i do(my pic is on one of my threads on the general discussion board i think) my gay best friend says if i cut off my long hair, and dropped the makeup, maybe a woman would realize.....she says i look st8...i get mad when she says that..I LIKE the way i look with the makeup..after 30,iwouldn't go outside without it! Also, it doesn't help my chances when i live here..this is windsor..and those who live here know this..unless u are a drinker, or a gambler...there isn't much to do if u are single...and for a 36 yr old female like myself..who doesn't really like to drink..can't afford to gamble...well let's just say i guess i'm glad i'm creative...i'm a writer, and a big time reader..i find ways to occupy myself...or elseI'd lose my ever lovin mind out of boredom....truly...go insane...so, that's me.....i love women, but look like a femm str8..in a city that is mostly str8...ifeel as if i'm the only single girl 'out' over 30..in this city anyway!...btw..i used upload attachement for my pic on my thread in the general discussion board, and now i can't seem to upload it for my avatar!!!help?
