Default Raised cortisol levels?

Hey everyone. I was diagnosed with PCOS a few months ago (not IR - fasting insulin was only 4 - and no signs of IR). I was put on Spiro a month ago to combat my thinning hair (and I was put on Yasmin 3 1/2 months ago). I went to my follow up appt last week, and he had taken all new bllodwork (even though I have been on the Pill for months) and my cortisol was 33 (out of range). The doc (who is amazing with PCOS) said that it was nothing to be concerned about - the Pill was causing the increased cortisol. Also my adrenal glands looked normal on the ultrasound. Am I panicking for nothing or do we think that the raised cortisol is contributing to the hair loss? I want to have complete faith in my doc b/c he is one of the best in the country for PCOS. I am just SO scared that the Sprio will not help my hair from pouring out of my poor head! Thanks in advance!
