Random?Any thin cysters with the trademark PCOS poochy tummy? What jeans do you like?
Hey all, I am a thin cyster, but still have a poochy stomach, so matter how thin I am, my stomach always sticks out a little bit. Makes finding comfy jeans that fit well very tough.
What brands of jeans do you find to be the most flattering?
TIA

I am the same way but it could have alot to do with having 2 C Sections.I do however retain alot of fat in the abdomen.I always look like I'm at least 5 months pg.My problem is constant bloat and I can't get rid of it.I always feel like someone inflated my stomach with air.I am trying the Sugarbusters diet to see if it goes away but after 4 days,no luck.
Oh,the jeans.I am 5'4" and weigh 133.I wear a size 6 on good days.I like Levis Strauss from WalMart and ANA from penneys. Its very hard for me to find jeans where the back of the waistband doesnt gap. That drives me nuts.I wear ALOT of ANA and St Johns Bay-they are stylish and no gaping waistband.
No matter how thin I've been, I still have a belly..I've come to accept it. That said, my favorite jeans are the dark rinsed boot cut stretch from Banana Republic. I have them in size 4, and they are really comfortable and slimming to the 'pooch'.
They are mid rise, no tummy baring for me! Watch for sales. I've paid as much as 68 and as low as 19.99 for them. No other pair by Gap or Old Navy fits as well as the Banana ones do. On that note, their Martin fit pants work very well for the same reason.
Hope that helps.

Even when I was super thin (which I am not now!) I still had the classic pouch! I hated it. Anyway, Levi's 550's work perfect for me! ~Misty

I'm 5'7" and 147 lbs (with clothes; so I'm probably closer to 143-145) and I have a poochy belly. It does make me really sad.
(Should I even be considered a "thin cyster"? Most of the thin cysters are super thin!)
As for pants, I want to try the Banana Republic jeans! I have a couple pairs of their cargo pants that I really like, but they still don't fit perfectly right.
I'd like to try Victoria's Secret brand pants and jeans, but I'm thinking right now that's a pipe dream.

I'd consider you thin. I LOVE Bongo jeans with the buttons on the buttpockets (my husband doesn't want me to wear any other kind... although its because it makes my butt look good not because of my belly....I've had two kids and am on my third, I figure I won't ever have a totally flat belly again!) They are usually low rise and so it doesn't matter if my belly pooches out a bit, I can just cover with a shirt.
Oh and I was watching an Oprah epsisode with the women of what not to wear and a good way to camoflage a belly is to layer a couple of tanks or tees over it. It can make a BIG difference! And they dont' have to be baggy or anything.
I guess I go for a different kind of Jean. I really like the ultra low waist because they don't squeeze my belly. I buy my favorite jeans at American Eagle. I just wear a belt so I don't have to worry about my butt showing and I wear regular shirts and tanks so my belly doesn't show.

HUGS to all of you I can feel your pain, I just lost almost 15 lbs in 6 months off metformin and am now 5'3 109 lbs with a Pooch!!!!! I feel like 6 lbs of my wt is in my belly. I felt like the first 3 months when I was on spirinolactone it helps a bit because I felt less bloated since it got rid of the excess water weight. Eating smaller meals helps as well. And as long as I dont slouch incredibly it wont show too much. I am so tired of holding it in even when I am a size 2 for god sakes... then how many of you have the dreaded jean button indentation on your bellies when u take it off???
I also have to wear low cut but have a real problem with the gap in the back. I still haven't found a brand I consistently like. After 4 abdominal surgeries, it actually hurts to wear anything with a waistband unless it's low cut. Clothing manufacturers need to come out with a line of clothing for Thin Cysters! I am not fat anywhere else, but I always look like I'm pregnant. And I have never been able to have kids, so none of that belly can be attributed to that.
I've actually had good luck with Victoria's Secret London jean except I have to hem them. I am a short Thin Cyster--a very difficult combination to clothe!

Gurrrrrl, that ain't no pooch! I think a lot of women would pay good money for your poochy belly...you have to squint and use your imagination to even 'sort of' see a pooch
BTW, I wear JAG jeans. No gap in the waist. I also get them extra long, and wear them with higher shoes (mostly things with thick soles, heels or platforms) since it creates the illusion of longer legs.
