A Rant and a question...kinda long.... OK here is my question. I am in the process of switching dostors because i didn't feel like a "person"at my current doctor,I felt more like a "paying customer" if anyone knows what I mean. well, anyway, whe I go to my new doc next week I want to be armed with as much info as I can ,so I have a question for everyone...
A little background first...
OK, i concieved my son on Clomid,I also got pg on CLomid in 1999 but miscarried at 5 weeks.this is when we found out I had PCOS. OK,after that i tried Clomid i think a couple more times with nothing. ok... they assumed ,i think, that i was Clomid Resistant so after many failed injectable cycles, and a long break, I come back to My RE's to find out hat he is gone, but a new one is in his place.Ok i see him the first time and he tells me that he is very interested in PCOS and is excited to be working with me.Ok i think cool, this guy is going to be great.... WRONG!!!
I honestly don't think he knows anything about it, he's just interested in it. he put me on Letrazole, with no monitoring and told me i didn't have to chart!! ok to make a long story short,i am kinda tired of dealing with him so i am switching...here comes my question( i know youre thinking " Thank God) LOL
I want to try Clomid again, because it worked twice before and I have never taken it with my Metformin. I really think that it will work better as a combo for me. Does anyone have any info on Clomid versus Letrazole?I have tried 3 Cycles on Letrazole with nothing. does my thinking make sense?(trying the combo?) I have no side efects on the CLomid, but I have Hellish ones on Letrazole. What would you all do? I have also been Prednant one time on my own with met alone in 2003 that ended in M/C. that is a positive sign huh?
Anyway thanks in advance for any replies, i have just decided to take control of my body and i thought i would start by at least knowing how it works !! Melisa
