 rapid heart beat
For the past week and a half I've been having a very rapid heart beat. It's not continous, or doesn't seem to be.
I saw my doctor yesterday. My pulse is around 50, but when she did an EKG my heart rate was 102. I have to go have an echo done friday, and had a bunch of blood tests done to see if theres anything wrong with my potassium, electrolytes and so on.
Has anyone else went through this? I didn't understand her explaination so much. She said that there are extra electrical impulses in my heart, but they don't create a pulse you can feel.
I've had a cold since the beginning of the month (just a dry cough now for 2 weeks) and she said that sometimes a cold can weaken the heart.
Seriously?
Im probably alone in this ;P but there are so many women here I thought I'd ask if anyone went through something similar.
