Unhappy Rash on my face after laser treatment

I went for my fourth laser treatment last Friday (it's now Monday). The lady that I go to had a new machine (same brand just a new one). Well it did hurt more than usual and she asked if I had been in the sun more often because my face was redder than usual.... if anything I had been in the sun less. She put aloe on my face and when I came home I put some ice and more aloe on. Well ever since then I've had this rash on both sides of my face and a few bumps on my chin. Has this ever happened to anyone? Why would it happen this time and not the other 3 times? I have continued to wear my makeup (only when I absolutely have to) because I'm not going out in public without it on. Any suggestions on how to get rid of this? Thanks for any help!

I would give them a call and let them know. They may want you to come in so they can see it. At the very least, they should have some advice for you. I've had many treatments and have not yet had a bad reaction.

The usually raise the intensity of the laser each time, so maybe that's why you felt it more. I always get red spots where it zaps the hair, especially if the hair is coarse.

I'm having laser treatments right now. I notice that I get a lot of bumps and ingrown hairs after. My doctor said it's pretty normal.

I think it was the more intense setting.... it hurt like heck for the first couple of days and looked like I had really bad acne on one side of my face. Luckily I had some Clindamycin (and RX acne gel)... that's helped a lot. I think I'm going to wait an extra week before going back. Thank you all for your thoughts.
